Expanded implant insurance benefits for eligible people aged 65 and over have applied since July 2018.

Insurance Understanding Your Coverage

Eligible Korean National Health Insurance members aged 65 and over may receive implant treatment under the applicable insurance criteria, with a standard 30% copayment.

The implant benefit described here is for partially edentulous patients and is limited to two implants over a lifetime. Eligibility is checked individually.

Treatment Method

Dental Implants

Implant treatment may include bone grafting when the examination indicates it is needed.

Treatment Time

Approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour

The procedure may take approximately 30 minutes to one hour, depending on oral condition.

Anaesthesia

Topical anaesthesia followed by local anaesthesia

Topical anaesthesia followed by local anaesthesia helps reduce discomfort.

Recovery

Eating after approximately 2-3 hours

Soft food may be possible after approximately 2-3 hours. Follow the clinical team's instructions.
